Hello, my name is Donna and I am a mixed-media print and surface pattern designer based in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. I specialize in designing a diverse range of pattern styles using a variety of mediums such as hand-painted patterns and digital designs. My main focus is on floral designs, and I enjoy inventing new techniques to create them for various products including apparel, stationary, and homeware. My prints have been sold globally, including in Los Angeles. In fact, my hand-painted watercolour heart print was featured in the Bora Asku 2019 Spring/Summer fashion show and received recognition in Vogue magazine. Look 11 and 14
My artistic process involves combining different mediums to create unique textures. For example, I might use a print created from a handmade stencil and then add pen and ink details on top. Alternatively, I sometimes press flowers and then transform them into seamless patterns using Photoshop. I always adopt a trend-based approach, imbuing my work with a unique and distinguished touch.
